Software (and hardware) stories

I can't understand what's going on. Firefox crashes very often with gmail!In order to be precise I have to notice that this crash happens when I use a new tab with gmail and I change this tab when I send my login details. Anyone else with the same problem?
Second, I have been using Vlc for the past few weeks and it's awesome. No need for codecs as it uses its own filters, most important: low CPU usage and it can play incomplete DivX (something that my previous player,WMP, couldn't do). Kudos to the guys that develop this software
Also: Norton R.I.P. It is history for me. Instead of this, I use Zone Alarm and Avast antivirus.Footprint is minimum and I'm happy.
Last but not least, my PC's burning!!! Right now,it's 67 Celcious degrees for the CPU!!! I don't know what to do. I have already 3 fans (2 for the case, 1 for the CPU). I have to turn off air-conditioning. Things are getting real hot...
